It may be taking a long time but it really is happening. I am currently scanning a large number of negatives, a process slowed by students needing help and equipment!

Stokes Bay Festival 2008

Last weekend saw Gosport's first 'real' festival, a folk festival no less. It was an amazing long weekend filled with music, two laughing Fairy Pirates and the traditional festival weather (rain).

Young Carers Festival 2008 - Fairthorne Manor

I spent last weekend (28 - 29 June) working as a volunteer during the YCF 2008 at Fairthorne Manor. I spent the Saturday running a cyanotype workshop with the kids, it was great fun and I managed to dye my hands blue! A few of my participants came up with ideas for prints that I managed to completely overlook!
The events that were run over the weekend were amazing. I can honestly say I am one of only 1500 people to witness 1400 rubber ducks race down the River Hamble.
